Performance Management Skills
Giving you a broad view of the systems, processes and philosophy that will enable you to locally drive the development of a performance culture.
This programme looks at all of the factors, opportunities, barriers etc. that a manager will need to take into account if they are going to successfully implement their own performance management skills and also encourage a performance management culture in their area of the business
A performance management culture exists where:
- It is seen as a systemic process of day to day management affecting everyone
- It is clearly linked to the organisational values and business objectives
- Line managers have the belief, skills and confidence to have meaningful conversations about performance with their people
- The senior managers role model this behaviour
- The organisation recognises that it is difficult and provides ongoing support and development for line managers
- People receive regular and ongoing feedback about their performance
This programme enables managers to consider and plan for all of the above issues and ensures that the skills learnt in some of the other skills sets are combined with a pragmatic approach to the business environment.

`We brought in pbr because of their track record in delivering results in very challenging blue chip environments. It is essential that we generate a performance driven culture here, particularly with some of the ex Public Sector staff, and the results so far are extremely positive` Darren Hockaday, Head Training and Development Tube Lines Ltd.
